My thoughts on movie trilogies
For some trilogies, I ignored an upcoming 4th movie because it may be too far away to care about. For some films, only two have been released but we know a third one is coming 100%.

How I would change/fix Cartoon Network

Kickstart the hacky sack
I have lost track of how many times I have attempted to restart a blog and get it active. Honestly, unless I get feedback of some sorts I tend to sulk and write nothing.
But here it goes again. I am not a good writer by any means. I’m not grammatically correct nor can I properly form sentences without there being a syntax error but I shall give it my best shot.

My Year in Lists: 1990
Here we go. The best movies that come out in 1990.
Back to the Future III - (gross $87,727,583) - I enjoyed this film very much. It doesn’t reach the heights set forth by the first film but that is okay. The time traveling train is so cool. Thankfully the animated series displayed it more than enough times. I think. I can’t remember.

Summer (End of)
A little late because mostly everyone has gone back to school by now except for me. The life of being a graduated with no job. The summer is over.
Detective
I wish I was a detective out in the streets solving crimes.
Better yet, I wish I was an actor who played a detective on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Fables
Been reading the comic series Fables these past three days. Forgot how good of a series it is. I need to catch up to the last released issue.
Gears of War 2
Recently I have been playing Gears 2 with a friend or two. Horde mode is pretty awesome but that adds to the already fun factor that is the Gears of War franchise. I find the story and the enemies much more fascinating than in Halo. And the games tend to have more variety and be more exciting than the Halo games as well.

Played Halo 3 tonight. Has been many many months since I last played. I wasn’t as bad as I thought I would be. Lag though killed the mood so I only played for an hour and a half.

4th of July
Almost over but better late than never. Rambo is a good movie to watch during this day. Maybe Die Hard 4. Independence Day is kinda overstaturated, you can watch it if you haven’t seen it in years. Action movies are a must. No crappy comedies or sappy love stories today.

Movies I watched: Transformers 2
Transformers 2 expanded on everything the first movie had, even the bad ideas. This sequel felt long. There were a few pacing problems and editing cues that just felt out of place. The best fight happened mid way. The finale was a bit anti climactic and rushed. There were so many robots that eventually a few of the ones you want to be around are simply phased out quickly to make room for others....
King of Pop
Michael Jackson has died. Kinda makes you wish that he could’ve gotten his personal life in order and amazed us with great music once again.
Transformers 2
It is finally here. I’m going to see it tomorrow. Critics have not liked this movie, and word of mouth seems to be mixed to average. However, the first movie was the same, so this might be enjoyable. It’s a Michael Bay movie. I know what to expect.
Surround Sound
So sad to have a surround sound system and not being able to connect it properly. DVD image shows up black and white. What a pain in the ass.

Drag Me to Hell
Saw this movie last night. A rare sight indeed. An actual good horror movie that is worth watching. The last third of it is a bit predictable but that doesn’t matter. People need to watch this.
